Delorean is the Anti-Burial

Delorean's debut LP "Subiza" is quickly growing into a favourite, summer soundtrack material. 'Grow' is standout in particular, first grabbing my attention a couple of days ago when it struck me as the sunny inverse of a Burial track. This 'live in the studio' video from pitchfork doesn't quite do the album version full justice, but should be a serviceable way to experience the song whilst giving your eyes something to do.

Also, AV Club has a appropriately down to earth, awesome interview with Trejo. Count how many times he uses the word 'cute'. Not cute as is cuddly, but cute as in "he thought he was being cute, so i dis-en-fucking-boweled him."

Caribou's "Odessa" from 2010's Swim LP. Reminds me of an AFX B-side i had back in the danger days, but much, much better.

I played ball last night and in polling the 10 guys, myself included, 9 of them wanted Butler to win, myself included. All 10 however thought that Duke would be victorious.

Like when the World Champion Yankees playing in the series last year, not a lot of people wanted them to win but everyone thought they would. Such is life, such is Mango.
