AMC is reworking Patrick McGoohan's "The Prisoner" as a mini-series, with Jesus himself as #6. Ian Mckellan will play #2 throughout (#2 was several different characters in the orginal, played by seperate actors, tho they all served the same function). You can view the lenghty teaser after the jump.
Caviezel seems to lack McGoohan's suspicous, fiercely independent dryness and could be the weak link. On the plus side Ian McKellan seems awesome as #2, and the production design is interesting. I'm excited.

i'm officially excited as i was before mad men came out and i wasn't disappointed then. same network, same standards, this shit is gonna be awesome.
Looks well done. i just find the concept so frustrating. how many episodes?
